Smoked Tomatillo Salsa Verde


Ingredients

  • Tomatillos

  • Jalapeños

  • Garlic

  • Onion, 1/2

  • Jacobsen Salt Co. Habanero Salt

  • Cilantro

  • Lime

  • Lane’s Chili Lime Rub


Cook

  1. We peeled and washed the tomatillos, deveined and deseeded the jalapeños, and busted up a head of garlic.

  2. All of that went on the Traeger, running at 225°, for an hour.

  3. When it all came off the grill, we tossed it in the @vitamix with half an onion, the juice of one lime, a handful of cilantro, some Chili Lime rub, and a good pinch of Habanero salt. We blitzed it until almost smooth.
