Chicken Caesar Garlic Bread
Ingredients
Loaf of Italian Bread
Garlic Butter - we made ours with Unsalted Banner Butter, chopped garlic (minced or pressed would be good too), and Lane’s Lemon Pepper Seasoning
Thin-sliced Chicken Breast
All Purpose Flour
Lane’s SPG
Olive Oil
Italian Seasoning (we used Dad’s Italian Seasoning, but Cattleman’s Grill makes an outstanding one too).
Freshly Grated Mozzarella Cheese
Chopped Romaine
Parmesan Cheese
Caesar Dressing (make your own, but the Butcher on Whitlock makes an outstanding dressing)
Freshly Cracked Black Pepper
Cook
The chicken was pounded to an even thickness and dredged in the seasoned flour.
We pan fried the chicken in a little bit of oil until the IT was 155°.
We coated the chicken pieces with Italian Seasoning and chopped it into bite size pieces.
The loaf of bread was spit and coated with the garlic butter.
*We would suggest toasting it lightly before moving on, but you can build it, then place it in the oven loaded.
Pile the cut chicken on the halves and cover with the Mozzarella cheese.
Bake at 425° for 8-10 minutes, until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
While the bread bakes, toss the chopped the romaine with the dressing and the parmesan cheese.
Once the bread is out of the oven, top with the salad and finish with some freshly cracked black pepper.
