Taco Rice


Ingredients

  • 1 lb Ground Beef, cooked and drained

  • 2 cups of Instant Rice

  • 1 packet of Taco Seasoning, or some #cattlemansgrill Mexicano

  • 1 cup of your favorite Salsa

  • 2 cups of Chicken Broth

  • 1 cup Monterey Jack Cheese, freshly shredded

  • 16 oz Queso or Cheese Sauce


Cook

1.    Preheat your oven to 350°.

2.    Brown beef and drain.

3.    In a 9x13 baking dish, combine beef, rice, taco seasoning, salsa, and broth. Mix well.

4.    Cover and bake for 30 minutes.

5.    After 30 minutes, remove from oven. Top with shredded cheese and queso.

6.    Bake for an additional 5 minutes or until cheese is melted.

7.    Serve with tortilla chips or on a tortilla.

We finished our bowl with some Sauce Daddy Lime & Basil Hot sauce and served it with some Old Florida Gourmet Tortilla Chips.
